‘Le Basketteur’  vase from the Luxval collection of the verreries Val Saint Lambert.

This vase was designed by Charles Graffart and Rene Delvenne on the occasion of the Olympic Games of 1936 in Germany. These were the first Games where basket was an Olympic discipline.

It is listed in the Luxval catalog of 1935.

Signed in the bottom with ‘VSL BELGIQUE’
